Late goals. What a turnaround.
Not got the stats but what a difference from last season with late goals. Instead of conceding and losing points, we are scoring late and winning points.

What's changed? Belief? Fitness? Tactics?

I'd say kicking or heading the ball towards the goal. Same as early goals really.

Eek? The manager!

Perhaps this will tempt those that fuck off with 10 minutes to go to stay until the end and support the team.

Playing against 10 men for an entire half?

More possession = less chasing = more energy towards the end of games

Stronger squad, more options on the bench.

Replacing the useless Alardyce who would have protected the point, causing us to sit back, with Bilic, whose mindset is to go for it. Not to mention the better players. Obvious really.

The subs were inspired

Sam's not made an inspired sub in his life

"The subs were inspired"

I bet there were a few tantrums thrown when Noble got hooked.

Re: Late goals. What a turnaround.
inspired is going a little over the top, because around us yesterday we were all saying take Moses or Noble off get Carrol on,, and we are certainly no manager!

No fucking Allardyce. Not difficult is it?

Re: Late goals. What a turnaround.
To me the change is that we have more attacking options and the manager is prepared to utilise them.

'inspired'?

Let's not start going ott ffs, pretty much anyone would have done the same thing.

Re: Late goals. What a turnaround.
We have more creative players who punish teams when given time and space, which tends to happen at the end of games.

But the biggest change is attitude. We're trying to win games, instead of respecting the fucking point.

Come on PD, Not true. ALL 3 ATTACKING subs made the winner. No chance what so ever BFS would have gone for it like that, content with a point.

Private Dancer 11:16 Sun Oct 18
Re: Late goals. What a turnaround.
Yes, but we're going down the road of every sub BFS made was a disgrace and every sub Bilic makes is inspired. It's starting to get a bit toe curling.

These blokes are paid millions a year to make decisions, I expect them to get the subs right more often than not.

What, like bringing on Carlton Cole on for Noble when we are coasting to victory at WHL?

I absolutely love the way we play. Even in the 2 defeats we kept playing football and creating chances.

We were the better side before the sending off and thoroughly deserved that win yesterday and rounded off by a sublime bit of skill.

Re: Late goals. What a turnaround.
Don't be silly, I'm talking about Bilic and good managers in general, not fat-so. Criminal though when you think that he actually did that.
